Dokyo

The Rogue

Dokyo was born and raised in a small village in the Si Wong Desert. He lost his parents when he was just a kid, and in truth he's not sure if they're dead or just somehow lost. All he knows is that the Fire Nation is responsible for their disappearance.

He spent his childhood years on the streets of the village, occasionally lodging at the local orphanage where he met Yuki, a good friend and the one that always tried to get keep him out of trouble. But Dokyo always had a wild demeanor, and he was a troublemaker and a daredevil.

He soon got mixed with the wrong company, who took advantage of his sandbending abilities. When he was caught stealing in the workshop of the local stonemason, the old man Ishiku decided to take the troubled youth under his protective wing instead of delivering him to the authorities. Finding in Dokyo a fellow earthbender, Ishiku trianed him in both martial arts and life.

But the passions of Dokyo were not fit for an honest life, and he soon got into trouble with a Fire Nation officer, when he stole a golden comb from the military woman. To protect Yuki and Ishiku, Dokyo run away from the village, and he's been travelling ever since, hoping to get a chance to make the Fire Nation pay for their crimes.
